70, Snowmobiling and Spring Break

Since you asked I'll show you what we did at the beach. Miles had to go to his preschool so there were only three boys here. We were just down the beach from Moclips Moonstone Inn so you can get the beach picture without the orange motel, of course. Dave, Cyd, Peyton and Walker were in the room next door. We all were pretty tired after beach combing, bumper boats, bumper cars and miniature golf for four days.
When I turned 70 I continued throwing belongings away and refused to write on this silly page. Gloria was nice enough to request an update but I think it was only because she wants to see your hair. I know you hate to mention it but Barb said the change took 5 years off your age. Hey, that should make you happy. No one can understand what made you have blond hair all your life unless someone you knew preferred blonds.
It is time to get geared up for Memorial Day and your sister is the one who can put out the details and get everyone fired up. I just want a bonfire as the boys are crazy about them too. At Ron's house the boys would get up early and put on the snowmobile helmets to wear with their pj's. They eventually got dressed and went outside with the helmets to sit on the snowmobiles waiting for Josh and Jake to give them rides. I think Ron has 11 of those things around there so Lucas, Cyd, and Grandma got to drive for the first time. Not that I really wanted to as I tipped one over and waited for Jake to come rescue me. I guess next to video games they all like snowmobiles except Lucas who prefers a bonfire over the second place snow machines. Josh and Jake are so helpful with the smaller boys so that will come in handy for all family reunions.
I was glad to read Jane's report of her Nicaraguan trip and sorry to hear Gloria's husband has been in several hospitals the past few months but hopefully he'll stay at his residence from now on. Willie has a wedding coming up soon and we will get two new family members, Brooke and Zayden. I wish they could be at Memorial Day with us.
I'll wait and tell you the daily fiascoes that I've been involved in since I became 70. Barb took photos of the cookie dough I made today. I was laughing until I cried. I still want to be like Barb and make things the right way. It's a flashback from cutting the wrong paper doll from her Playmate magazine in first grade.
