Yes, we have more than one politically wise teacher in our family. Darren, who formerly ran for President of the United States, has written a comment in response to Hank’s comment the week previously. I listened to Scott Simon speak last night at our local college and learned that he suspects some indictments after the election due to the 60 million dollar donations from Chicago alone to one particular campaign. I love to get comments.

Soccer finished up for Lucas on Saturday and my job was to man the video camera. Keep your eye on number 14.

It was a busy weekend with a Lucas sleepover at Grandma’s including the Wii Mario Slugger, carpentry assembly of scrap wood, disassembling an old tape recorder, attending the African Children’s Choir and yet when we pulled into Brett’s driveway Lucas complained that he didn’t get to do anything all weekend. I loved hearing Brett get a pay back for all the times when he yelled to me, “I’m bored, what is there to do?”

So far your attempt with organizing a group trip to Greece is working as Diana and Jim are now in. I still don’t have a roommate so I hope someone volunteers soon. It will give us something to focus upon as the snow blankets us.

This will be a good week-Halloween and the elections will be over!
