Computer Snafu
My computer died and took everything I ever had with it. Not really but it feels like that. Brett helped me restore this old iMac so I'm trying to reconstruct things and use it permanently but the new stuff is so much better that soon there will be a new laptop here. Anyway I like to write in this space during the night while I'm under the warm covers and this desktop machine is no good for that sort of thing.
That's enough excuses for now. I have no email addresses so I hope I get some email and then I can return some messages. I have been home for two weeks now and in two days I'm heading back to Seattle to see the twins. It has been fun sleeping in my own bed and using my own shower so you know I'm getting very old and set in my ways.
Miles and Lucas are doing well. Lucas knows a new Valentine's song and Miles is reaching and batting at objects so that is good. My mom is doing well also and yesterday she went to Pinochle at the senior center and had a great time. I asked the person in charge and they reported that she is a fantastic player. Clara Bayman, who has been a friend of my mom's for over 50 years has moved from Warden to within a block of my mom's place. My mom didn't know the name but she sure did recognize her when she saw her.
I think Judy must be back from the Dominican Republic now. She probably missed the news about Katie expecting in the Fall. I wonder why a huge email wasn't put out by the family. I know she didn't miss the news of Nancy's big 60th birthday party in Medford. Nancy's best gift ever was the new puppy, Sassy. I also heard that Ken was back to work again after his spiritual renewal. I am dying to know what he discovered about himself and what his new goals are after this sabbatical. I hope he has a talk about this ready for the Memorial Day reunion.
